Why is it worth getting a measurement?

If you are just starting your fitness journey
The first measurement serves as a baseline. You can clearly see where you are starting from and set realistic goals. There is no need to rely on the mirror or the scale – you get objective data about your body.

If you are already training regularly
Progress is not always visible on the scale. It is possible that your weight stays the same while your body fat decreases and your muscle mass increases. The InBody 270 clearly shows these changes, making your progress truly trackable.

What does the InBody 270 measure?

The analysis provides, among others:

  • body fat percentage and fat mass
  • skeletal muscle mass
  • total body water and hydration status
  • visceral fat level
  • mineral content
  • segmental analysis of muscle and fat distribution (arms, legs, torso)
  • basal metabolic rate (BMR)

These results give a much more accurate picture of your body composition and health status than simple body weight alone.

How to prepare for the measurement

To ensure the most accurate results, we recommend:

  • preferably schedule the measurement in the morning
  • avoid eating and drinking large amounts of fluids at least 3 hours before the test
  • avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours prior
  • do not perform intense exercise or sauna use on the day of measurement
  • measurement is not recommended during menstruation
  • the test cannot be performed during pregnancy

Regular re-measurements (e.g. every 4–6 weeks) provide clear feedback on whether you are moving in the right direction. For the best comparison, it is recommended to always repeat the measurement under similar conditions.
